Welcome to Hanford Cricket Club

Welcome to the website of Hanford Cricket Club, members of the North Staffs & South Cheshire Cricket League, Kidsgrove & District Junior Cricket League and the South Moorlands Junior Cricket League. We are also affiliated to the England & Wales Cricket Board, Staffordshire Cricket Board and members of Staffordshire County Cricket Club.

Joining the North Staffordshire & District League in 1978 we were Senior 'B' Champions in 1980 gaining promotion to the Senior'A' Section.After an unbroken spell of twenty three years a disastrous season in 2003 saw us relegated to the "B"section for the 2004 season.However fortunes changed in 2004 and by finishing in runners up spot we gained a speedy return to the "A" Section.The extension to the North Staffs & South Cheshire Cricket League this year saw us move to play in Division 2A of that League.

Since joining the North Staffordshire & District League we have been Senior 'A' Champions in 1988 and 1990. We have also been Senior League Knock Out Winners in 1987,1990 and 1997. Other honours include Junior 'A' Champions in 1984 and 1990.Kidsgrove & District Junior Cricket League 'B' Section Champions in 1988.
